I think i'll try the lighter spring and screw the adjustment in a little. I thought the governor lever was ok but i'll check it again. Would adjusting the valve lash and advancing the time help and bring the egt's down. need better air flow too!!!!

I adjusted the screw to just touching the diaphram, will it make that much differance to screw it in one or two turns?

just put a equal plate to the #11 in a 98, forward 1/16" and afc sping kit. Was not impressed with the power increase!!!!!! I messed with the star wheel 5-6 times and still couldnt get it where i thought it should be. Are there any more adjustments or little fixes that anybody knows about that...

I replaced mine with 6. 5 component speakers from Crutchfield. All of the 6x9s that I lloked at were to deep to fit in the factory holes. The problem is the window hitting the magnet on the way down. dont think you can fit anything deeper than 2 3/4"

my truck has the five speed,the pump has been turned up but the stock cam plate has not been moved. I dont really understand what the mechanic did but it worked. somthing abou recalibration, spillport time? anyway talked to him yesterday about more power and he recomended bigger injector...

thanks for the advise, now the hard part is finding someone that would swap, I called All Truck in SLC, UT, they wanted $1300 for the 3. 54 axle and would only give me $400 on the trade. I think if their axles worth that, than mine isnt to far behind. I can see them making a little money on it...

my 2500 has a 4. 10 axle ratio, I tow about 20% of the time, and hardly ever over 5000#, what to go to 3. 54 gears just for the fuel economy, is this the smart thing to do? if it is,is there anyone that wants to swap or a good junkyard? My truck has 88000 2wd
