anybody know whether this might be a problem with the 2004. 5. My truck makes a lot of grinding noise and seems to get a little louder while going around corners. I can only think this could be a wheel bearing or something in the driveline assembly. thanks for any info.

I have about 9800 miles on my 3500 and it has the nv-5600 in it. At 1800 miles the second gear went out on it along with the syncronizer rings and had to be overhauled. I was without the truck for a week and a half. Now at 9800 miles its starting to feel a little stiff and won't go into reverse...
