Competition 0-60 time compared to 1/4 mi.

Just wonderin' how fast you guys are runnin' 0-60? Is it atleast 8 sec. faster than your 1/4 mi? How do these 2 compare to one another? Or is this apples and oranges ???

I do not know what others are doing but I can tell you that I run a low 13 to a high 12 second 1/4 mile and I am under a 8 sec 0 to 60. I have a ticket that I got the day before Thanks Giving. Understand I launched with only 15LBS of boost I can Easily make 45LBS of boost. I also have a 1. 8 to 1. 65 60 foot time at the track. Thats before I did the trans change over to a Sun Coast from a DTT. Not wanting to cause a trans war let it be known that the change was purely economics. Sun Coast unlimited HP & Mileage 3 Years Dtt no such warranty. I already broke 2 output shafts I need the warranty protection.

Given ECPeters info of a low 13 second run, I can tell you that when I used to drag race our 01 truck (which ran 13. 27 @ 104 no nitrous), it would run ~8. 5 seconds at 81-82 mph in the 1/8 mile without the nitrous. Seems to me that 0-6 would be quite a bit quicker... like 5. 5-6 seconds possibly.

I am running just shy of 500 rwhp and I have beat my brothers car (AMG CLK55) in little 0-60 races several times. His car is advertised from the factory to go 0-60 in around 4. 8. I am running just shy of 500 rwhp. I would guess that i am around 4. 5-4. 6 with 4x4 20psi launch.
