After 2 years 9.5 months my dodge is finally home and running. I would never wish this experience on anyone.
The backstory: The ECU died in 10/21 and was sent to AutoECU for repair, who made the problem worse. After a refund and return I sent it to Flagship1 for another attempt, and mysteriously the package was tracked 3/4 of the way across the country before being sent to the USPS' black Hole in Atlanta, never to be seen again. They insured it for $100, which I told them to roll tightly and shove.
I found a young local diesel mechanic willing to do the P-pump swap with all the other changes necessary to make it work. We found that none of the gauges work without the ECU so one was eventually located in a wrecked truck, sent off for diagnosis, repair and reprogramming. Upgraded the injectors slightly. Radiator was replaced after it was found to leak after re-install, also full of tons of debris from being 20 years old. Everything now works except for the cruise control.
