I'm not surprised, GY tires have served me very poorly. Had one set that had almost no traction, after two sets I gave up. My last set of mud tires were chunking and could not be balanced, my right front lasted 600 miles before I demanded a buy back.
My trailer tires had problems too. My 265's wouldn't make it to 25K. My present BFG TA's are much better after 30K, no problems, lots of tread left and they provide good traction. I noticed the last few GY problem tires (pu truck) were from Mexico.
I lean towards Michelin/BFG now, unless they don't have the size.
