The latest is that the claims are bogus. After much ado (driving to Spokane, dyno testing across the street from Dishman Dodge, installing the injectors at Dishman by Chad Riley from Pasco (Diesel Performance Unlimited), another dyno test (60hp increase) and proceeding back to Mount Vernon at the same time of day and climbing the same hill outside Ellensburg for EGT test (camper on truck) and doing the same speed all the way home. Results? Same mpg but increase in EGT's by 150 degrees on hill climb. Big deal. But... believing it might just be a little headwind or... . I made some mpg runs on I-5 at 16. 7 and after reflash at 17. 8. I liked the hp but not for $2000. So they came out in August and my factory injectors re-installed in Pasco. Josh from Dishman very apologetic and not willing to work with Diesel Performance Unlimited anymore. Chad Riley actually argued that he had not made the claims! Josh supported me. There you have it. Too good to be true... is usually too good to be true. I think it was Dave doing the dyno testing on the install and his comment was "sounds like snakeoil. " Dang... it was.
Bob Wagner is talking about another product than the ones that started this thread.
