Yesterday a Dodge dealer in Omaha NE (Lithia Dodge) refused to consider fixing my vehicle under warranty because my mudflaps weren't dealer installed. Two month old truck.

But I'm sure dealers are just protecting themselves from us serial engine modders that abuse our trucks then expect them to pay for it.

The nerve of some people. Installing mudflaps. How outrageous and inconsiderate of these poor struggling dealers can I possibly be.

You need to print this thread and send a copy to D. C. and the owner of BOTH dealers involved. I've done such before. Gets THEIR attention.

DSM non-Mopar parts disclaimer.

I purchased my '07 from Dave Smith Motors in Idaho. They install many aftermarket parts including boxes, injectors, intakes, suspension, etc. You are required to sign a disclaimer before deal is done that any non-Mopar product installed by them may invalidate your D/C warranty. They are at least upfront about it to the customer.
