the boost guage on the dash works but it produces 52 lbs of boost so it freaks it out... LOL, there is a boost in the column also, this truck chirps the tires in 4th gear... . its a monster... .

rick called us today, he got home fine - said the truck is running great. he has pulled some equipment around today on the trailer and it cruises like there's no load at all...

I drove the truck yesterday and I must say that I am in AWE! This looks like a factory install! I am very impressed. The only thing is the factory doesn't make truck move like this!! Very clean looking installation. Again, my hats off to ya! I love it. Too bad you couldn't move that heater core. You know how hard it will be to build twins for this truck with that there?! He he! Keep up the good work! Seriously, awesome job!

Oh, yeah, and we just installed the 40/20/40 seats yesterday. We had to tap the holes for the different seats! What a pain. Also, I think a BD Short shifter will be on order very soon. Save from hitting the center console with the shifter.

thanks, it is a beautiful truck - mounting new seats is kinda a pain but hey, as long as rick is happy... . he was probably grinning all the way home - i know he made it in record time..... LOL

from one extreme to another!!! the old F600 is well on its way and will be done this week - the 03 F550 was brought up today - will keep you posted! rick hauled a 30'

palm tree with his truck, he is going to send us a pix, i will post it - and he is taking it to the diesel truck show in vegas next month... . i expect it will turn a few heads!

what year 12v is that you are putting in the F600? Is that a 12v out of a pre-94 truck with the rotory pump?

yes that is a 91 12valve - it runs great, he can haul his beehives all over the place... lol

i haven't had time to post lately, but we are almost done with the 03 Ford/05 Cummins project in the shop... will get some pix done and start a new thread - we are doing a "overhaul" on a installation done by "the other shop" right now, boy what a mess we are straightening out... . the owner had it back about 6 months, brought it back up from CA for us to fix everything... .

we are also started into the 91 suburban that also lives in CA - i'll do some posting on that soon as we get a little farther - we did get the OBS mounts done from this one tho... .

we are documenting everything with photos etc - it looks like there may be some repercussions :-{} legally from the owner against that shop. it is UNBELIEVABLE the things we have found and fixed - even you wouldn't believe it Dave, such as exhaust pipe for intercooler tubes, hose clamped to the wrong size hose. the motor mount on one side was almost completely ripped apart, that would have been an ugly mess. I could go on for 3 pages-OMG!!!!!! its HORRIBLE!!!!! :--) it's just a good thing we got him up here now, there is so much that was about to turn disasterous very shortly if too many more miles were put on it. there is gonna be a list of little things he can do when he gets home also, there is no way we will have time, he is coming on friday.
