'06 5.9 w/Truck Camper with P2122 Code and in limp mode

You really do not need the crows foot wrench if you pull the VC riser, that will clear the TQ tube to use a socket on it. A short wrench to hold the TQ tube when tightening the lines is recommended. Judicious use of pry bar will pop injector loose, same with tubes if you don't want to source all the tools. The TQ tube insert is the only needed tool if the tubes are stuck.
Ok good, I guess when you say TQ tube you are referring to the crossover tube?. Since I will be initially pulling out the one injector that I will have tested at Bosch facility after I install the new Bosch solenoid. If it doesn't pass the test the truck will stay parked awaiting new BBI Injectors, but if it passes I will reinstall it to buy me some time before I drop $3000. But when I reinstall that one injectors I'll probably have to install a new copper washer along with O-ring on the injector And on the crossover tube if it's not all corroded?

Yeah, cross over tube. If the tube looks bad it needs replaced as it has to hold same pressure as injectors and when they rupture everything grinds to a halt.

Here's a dumb question. Is there supposed to be a pointer indicating the exact position of the TDC mark on the damper or is it just around the 12 O'clock postion?
Thanks Again.

The timing mark should be aligned with a vertical line thru center of the damper. Since it is near impossible to get that exact "around the 12 o'clock position" is about as close as you can get. Assuming the damper ring has not slipped of course.

Yes, very true. Besides adjusting the valve lash I was just trying to take the pressure off the rocker hold down bolts prior to removing the rockers to pull the faulty injector. I know these 5.9s have cast iron heads and the threads probably won't get boogered up like an alluminum head, I guess it's just habit, to relieve the tension from the rocker bolts or just OCD.

Yes, after contacting a handful of fuel shops that said they can only test it I'm going to take it to BECS Pacific they did my VP44 back a couple years ago. Their a Bosch shop $$$, he said for 50 to $75 they will run it thru a complete test and give me a print out. If it fails they won't repair it, just sell me a Bosch reman at $295. Let's hope it passes. Now I just need to order a Haynes manual from Geno's for this truck to make sure I do things in the correct sequence.

I suggest you simply spend the money on a complete new or reman injector set rather than throwing good money after bad. When they rebuilt my engine they required an injector test to validate the warranty. They tested good but still gave me random long cranks with black smoke on startup. They also didn't last very long before one had a dead miss and on a retest another one had a high return rate. Testing doesn't indicate what life they have left.

Yeah an expensive limited life item and your crystal ball is warning you they are near end of life with the known factory filter.

FWIW MMO is a solvent. The diesel additive test it made lube worse. Use enough of it in your engine oil and it will polish the turbo bearings away to failure... It doesn't belong anywhere near a diesel engine.

It may just be a bandaid on the problem but the trucks back together, injector checked out fine from authorized Bosch test facility after I replaced the bad solenoid with a new Bosch one. Adjusted the valves, looked like they were never touched after the assembly line, they were a bit sloppy up to .010 out of specs at 159K on the clock. The motor seem a bit smoother and quieter as well. Now to upgrade the filter system in preparation for the new BBI injectors in the near future. Hopefully I can get thru the summer and make it a winter project.
Thanks to all you guys on the site.
