Does Carli sell a dual stabilizer set up or did you fab that yourself? I have the high mount stabilizer and Carli said to use it and keep the OEM stabilizer in place too but that looks like a better set up.

When I got it installed, the truck wanted to pull to the left (285/75R17 Toyo AT's. ) Carli suggested that I purge out the stabilizer a little bit at a time until it stopped pulling to the left. That has more or less worked but I'm thinkin' that your dual set up is the way to go. If that was your own fab, what did you do to make it happen?

Yah, Carli sells the dual stabilzers w/ the Bilstein 7100 shock. Jake's is the Carli set up. You can order either seperate or together. Some get the high mount and leave the stocker on until it wears out and then replaces it w/ the new S/S... .

I run both from carli and my truck couldn't track any straighter its amazing I take my hands off the wheel and it goes straight.

What is the part number for the pitman arm? Is it not included in the tie-rod/drag link upgarde kit (part #52122362AB)?
sorry don't know numbers.

Kit?? do you not order all these parts separate for an 08 or is there one part number for a kit?

I haven't orderd this yet, but it is my understanding that 52122362AB gives you all the tie rod ends and drag link in one package to convert from the y-style steering to the newer t-style steering. You can't use your existing steering damper, and the part number for the new one of those is 52122370AA. And apparently you have to change to a newer style pitman arm too?

Yes it comes complete and assembled in the box with nice orange condums over the threaded ends so no damage may occur durring freight. No pitman arm and steering stabilizer in kit.

The pitman arm has a different angle and Yes Carli has a damper that will slip right onto the new stock location

Why would they assemble a kit this way unless its meant to fix something wrong with the oem design?

Just seems odd to me, no TSB but a parts kit in one box.

It is not the first time individual parts have superceded to a replacement kit

I realise that, tomorrow I am doing an HVAC sub assembly update on a 2000 Jeep but its for a specific reason. I was just wondering if anyone knew why the change? After posting here I read another thread it may be related to the Death Wobble reports.

Thanks for the update. I think I'll give Carli a call this week and see about the second stabilizer. My truck tracks pretty well after purging some of the nitrogen but I still think that the dual set up looks like the way to go.

Thanks to nitrogen for the reply as well. I'm new to the TDR & I couldn't figure out how to place two different quotes into the same reply. Thanks all.

Note the Dual stabs from Carli are not in an opposing configuration. The truck may still pull.

I just looked at the original pic more closely. I didn't catch that. I'll leave the OEM as it tracks pretty good after purging the bilstien a little. I'm saving for the 2. 0 bilstiens anyway. Thanks.

Odd, when I talked to Bilstein they said they don't make stabilizers, seems a shock designed for suspension used as a steering stabilizer would not be the thing to do
No it would not, you must have talked to a person that just answers phone calls tech or not he is wrong. The body may be standard 7100 but the innards are different. Matt just do it and get it over with you will be pleasantly happy:D
