Number one most useless thing on my truck is the warrenty since nobody touches my baby but me.

Having said that I hope nothing serious breaks.

I still have a use for the muffler and resonater, they're the shiniest things in my junk pile next to the garage!

Injection pump

Should have a plug on the side of it for the major fueling boxes:D :cool:

Why? My alum wheels seem to be holding up fine. Didn't/don't have any problems with the stock chrome wheels on either of the '96 trucks.

Tires were too small

And when I put on a set of larger ones to make the truck look better they wore like ****. :mad: I put a set of 285/75/16s on my factory crome rims which are 6. 5" wide and only got 12,000miles out of them before they were completly wore out. My next set of tires were more expensive BigOs and they wore out in 14,000miles. I rotated those puppies every 2,000 miles and it didn't help a lick. :{ (there went $680 down the drain)#@$%! I should have ordered the cheap wheels and tires and bought aftermarket one's right off the batt (would have been cheaper in the long run) :rolleyes: In my opinion Dodge can keep their junk 6. 5" rims, but I like the new alum. rims and they're 8" wide. :) The damn things are still a pain in my backside because they take up room in my pole barn. :{

14. Horn buttons/pad '98 plus

The absolute biggest waste of money on my CTD... .

The $$$$$ that Cummins/Dodge spends in "training" on the mechanics/parts replacers at the local 5 Star Stealerships. :-{}

"Clueless" doesn't begin to describe most of the service personnel. :mad: :confused: :(

Me... ... ... :D :D :D !

Seriously though, the factory tires sucked-I yanked them 3650 km into the truck's life and sold them to one of my bosses for his Ford ! :) . The factory windshield is the most crack-prone thing I've ever seen in my years of driving. The horns sound like something on a Sprint instead of a Ram. And my steering box hasn't exactly been the poster child for driveability... .

Other than that though pretty good truck!
