To whom it may concern....

I have done it both ways, it depends on my mood, but usually through the fender. I have not had issues with either method. That said, you can do it either way as far as I am concerned, I will not lose any sleep if you choose a method different than mine. I have not chosen teams or sides in this trivial matter.

Also, you are under no obligation to explain to me why you do it the way you choose, nor do you have to prove anything to me about your chosen method.

Now you know.....Just sayin...... o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

A new turn for the new year??? Switzerland??? :D

It’s odd you bring this up......

Us 4500/5500 guys only have TWO options.

Remove the intake (I don’t do)

Get it straight from below, like the 2012 and older trucks (I do)

The wheel well liners on the 4500/5500 trucks do not allow for oil filter removal via the wheel well. :D

I changed my mind. Please defend your choice here, provide evidence showing your method is superior.

Regardless of evidence provided at this time, I will still challenge your method in the future. :D

Now there's a username I haven't seen in a while. Then again I haven't been on RCC much in years.

Your first reply was better, now you want to stir the pot.

I have had three RAM trucks 93, 2001.5 and 2015, and have always changed my oil filter from the top on all three, just because that is the way I do it. And see no reason to change my method.

Hey dude!
I still check in at least once a day, (mostly for the tin foil board)....but only when I'm at work. :D
It kind of went downhill once Sam sold the site, not that I blame him.
I sold the 98 12v a few years ago, and actually sold my 85 W150 to Loy like 5 years back. Last time I looked, I was still the WA chapter mod. I haven't lived there in three years, lol.

I'll be sure to remove you as mod. :p

I blame the political and conspiracy morons....and the popularity of Facebook.

Anyway, sorry for the disruption folks.
