17 x 7 wheels with 315 BFG..who is running them?

Who is running the 315 BFG tires with aftermarket 17 x 8 wheels? I have tried the 17 x 9" and they rub. Anyone else??

I have 17x8 American Racing Atlas' with 315/70/17 BFGs and they don't rub, but then again, I also have a leveling kit on the front of the truck.

onebucsfan... how is the backspacing on those? do you have any pics?

COOL I was looking at the 17 x 8 Python from American Racing. They 5. 5" of back spacing. I also have a leveling kit. How much space do you have between the tire and the back of the fender at full lock?

I have a set of "Python" wheels and BFG 315 sitting at the shop waiting for my new truck. I also have a Tuff Country 2 1/2" leveling kit (basically a bolt on steel spacer) as well. I will Post again at the end of next week after installation.



The shop I'm using is pretty experienced with this stuff and they don't see a problem with clearance.

I believe there is between 1-2" of clearance. It looks pretty tight, but I have never had them rub.

Just wondering because 4wheel parts have them on sale. . for $159. 99 each buy three and get one free... pretty good deal.

That price is for polished aluminum. 4Wheel parts wants $275 each if you want the chrome plated version. Just a matter of personal preference.



They are an awesome looking wheel. With a set of 315 tires, it doesn't get much better.

Has anyone ordered the buy 3 get 1 free wheels through 4wheelsparts.com? I am trying to find out how much the shipping costs will be. I can't seem to get an answer.

Call 1-800-421-1050 Freight was about $50. 00, $480 for wheels, Caps and lugs $15 x 4 = $45 plus shipping... . depending on where you live.

I am running 17X10 Ultra's with 33x12. 50x17's and have not had a problem with them rubbing- you do have to run flares though.
