gonna be 36 this September... but still feelin' 19 - that's when I got my first car - a '69 Dodge Charger... . and I've been 19 ever since.

... . wait, did I say I was feelin' 19? Make that acting 19... feelin' more like..... umm, well more like old enough to know better and still to young to care if I know better :-laf

I AM 16 :D :D :D

don't kill me

and i refuse to get any older (i listen to my elders) i have been hooked on Cummins since 10!!! i know, i was brought up right.

my mom bought a "outback". i know now why imports suck... . i can't fix them!!!:(

i bought my truck from my friend and "HE" has a broken trans. and it cost alot to fix but it is worth every penny i have to put into it.

i love old tractors and trucks (they are easier to fix) i'm in the process of expanding my collection (this isn't cheap)

but i still won hehehehehehehehehe you guys can just wish you are my age

jim

Ok so this was posted in 04 so he is now 20! I have him beat!!! I'm 19 and I'm a girl!! :D

My dad bought the truck in 97 it was his truck till 05 when he bought a new cummins. He gave his 93 250 extended cab, long bed, 5 speed to me. I love this truck! I learned how to drive on it! It is A LOT different from when my dad had it!

I have been going to May Madness a TDR Diesel Event since I was 8 and have loved Diesel trucks since then. Sorry Jimmie! I have you beat there too.

I had a shell on my truck that was for sale and was offered an 80's corvette and cash for my truck as is! I said NO WAY! I love this truck way too much!! Its pretty neat to have people watch me roll up in a clean looking first gen and having me a girl hop out of it! I think its cool that I can sit in the engine compartment and probably have the hood shut and not feel smashed. I love working on it and washing it too!

Melissa, is that picture out at Pyramid? I look for your truck around town, but haven't seen it yet.

I have a 2006 Mega, white with a lumber rack. Ducks Unlimited plate DUX. Usually in the northwest, but sometimes out in the North Valleys.

Nice to see that there is young girls getting into these trucks! We need more girls like you Melissa!

As for age, yes, it does appear that all of our ages (and our trucks) have changed since the start of this thread! Now 22, but I also have two trucks now!!

I'm only out in the North Valleys once a week now. I go to the North West about the same. But school is up at TMCC I'm there twice a week. I have not seen your truck. But then again I have never seen my other friends who are TDR members here in Reno.

I bought my first Dodge truck in 1980 when I was 23. My buddy was into Dodge trucks. ( Between the two of us we have 12 Dodge trucks-some are for parts-& 8 of them 1st gens. ) It was a damaged 78 D200 reg cab that I fixed up, then I had an 1980 club cab 1/2 ton, 2 81 short box clubs, next an 82 long box club that started life as a 1/2 but I converted it to a 3/4. I had it for 11 years. Now I have my 84 D350 Crew that I bought in 2000 and is soon to be CTD powered (although it will have a 2nd gen engine ). I know these old truck well and have lots of spare parts. It's like a favorite old jean jacket. Sure I could go and buy a "newer" crew cab but they are everywhere, and I don't want payments. I want something different. That makes my current ride almost 24 years old and me 50. Shadrach

im 17. bought my 93 when i was 16. i cant even remeber how long ive been "in love" with the dodge cummins. the dodge cummins is one of the mains reasons thats made want to be a diesel mechanic years ago. im going to diesel/heavy equipment school next year and cant wait. ive vistited the school and walkin into that shop seeing Cummins ISX's, ISM's, cat c15's, detroit 60 series, mercedes, international 570's, dt466's. john deere motors everywhere also. i was like a fat kid in the candy shop.

i would put up a picture of my truck if i new how to. its a nice truck though i must say. i love the old body style, the simplicity of the motor is so awesome. and the dependability is hard to beat.

by the way, where can i find me more girls like melissa that are here down south. man a live, a girl that is that sold for cummins... . sheww

i no girls that drive powerchokes :) but if i could just find me one with a cummins, who understood our way of thinkin.

How does it go? 18 for 26 years now(44).
My truck has been the bane of my wifes existance. She hasn't said me or it yet but I can sure tell she's thought it once or twice. It's loud, the neighbor hates it, the paint is bad but my 16 year old daughter wants it when I'm done with it. I might be awhile.

you have a 16 year old daughter who wants your truck????

where do you live. hahah

just fooling with you, but you should be proud that you have a daughter who wants your truck. you should get her one of her own.
