Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 1st gen wheels on 2nd gen?

I tried searching but can't seem to find an answer. Will 1st gen wheels fit a '96 and gen truck?

Nope...

The will fit the rear but will not work on the front... ... . Andy

Thanks for the info Andy. I have a line on a set for the rear to allow me to run studded snows.

thats because of differing hub sizes, correct? the 1st gens had a little bigger hub size than the 2nd gens, and they wont fit all the way onto the axle hub. Bolt pattern is still the same...

I remember trying a spare from my dad's old 93 on his new 99, way back then in 99 (lol)... I remember something like this. .
