Competition White FURY unleashed at Scheids

I tried it out at the Marshfeild fair. I got 2nd place about 320ft. There was only one other diesel there and it was a 97 Ford PSD that got a 280ft I think. A lady won driving a GM HD gasser. I thought for sure there would be plenty of you Dodge guys there. Well it was a fun time and doesn't seem like it abuses your truck at all.

Now for the questions. When they were doing the pro pullers, why does the 1st truck have the option of going again? The said something about breaking in the track. The pro mod trucks that pulled again always did better. What type of tires are the best for this, or does the tire vary with the track?

sled must have been in low gear...

... they do run the weight slower in lower weight brackets. There were plenty of Dodges at our local pull, mostly gassers though. I know when they get to modified and diesel 7800 that weight flys to the front. I'm by no means a pro like the Mitchells or Gene(sled-puller). I ran B. F. G. -A. T. s this year and they did better than the michelens I had last year. Track conditions depend on how much they wet it down, how deep the ruts are,and even what part of the country you're in. They let the 1st guy run again also. Or I should say he's got the option of taking his first pull or trying again. If he breaks or does worse he's s. o. l... . Doug

I remember the rooky class in Muncie this year, they spared mercy on some dude and his young son and let him take it out the gate. they were in a 6. 5 chevy too.

but hey, it was good for the kids :D
