I would love to have my 2-mic filter right there but that is the exact spot my Apps sits, thanks Dodge.
Looks good. Where are you measuring the pressure?ronmonical said:made up a 2 micron filter between my stock filter and cp3 with all cat parts. i think it came out good. seeing about half a psi diference at full throttle on fuel pressure. stock intank pump rest of the truck is stock

Buffalo said:I have the Cat. 1R-0749, 2 mic. , fuel filter serving the auxillary fuel tank on my '03. It's been there for well over a year & has worked well.
The filter head (mount) is a Cummins product.
I believe that the 1R-0749 is the longer version of the other filter that has been mentioned. Mine is about 11" long (filter, that is!!!).

Andersonville said:I use one of those Cat filters between my aux tank and the main tank. I also use Howes year round. More Howes during cold snaps. Good installation and pics. I would like to get rid of the banjo bolts and increase the amount of fuel available to the engine fuel filter. Any kits out for that?
ronmonical said:im sorry thats what it is 1R0749, i dont know why i put 740
n7gxz said:The 1R0749 crosses over to a WIX 33674 or NAPA 3674. NAPA is showing the price at $21. 89, don't know how that compares to Cat's pricing.
Careful with filter number cross references
