:D 2 seconds quicker and 10 Mph faster in the 1/4 mile with the few changes that I've made. Last year and completely stock the truck ran a 18. 1 at 72 mph with 3:55 rear gearing

I had problems with spinning the dually tires, so I had to let the air pressure down and do a burn-out to warm the tires, that helped out, but had to come down on the boost alittle from the start so the truck would hook-up better, I never thought I'd have to do a burn-out with a dually, lets just say a few people took notice:cool:

the truck still spun alittle and the air temp was around 80 degrees

so there still alittle more in her!!!!!:)

The trans does NEED TO BE UPGRADED!!! the convertor would not lock in until almost the end of the 1/4 mile, new trans would put more h/p to the ground.

;) :D :)

I love my truck!

My "baseline" run at Rockingham NC dragway test N tune last year was a blistering 18. 9 @ 73 MPH. Totally stock. At the time I was running an early Edge "3 light" box and boost elbow. That time is with the box off. The same day I ran a best time of 16. 4 @ 86. Weight was 6,740 at the track scales.

Since then I've installed Bosch 275 "RV" injectors. My best "GTECH" time to date is 15. 9@92 MPH. I have yet to run it at a track since the injector install.

It's amazing how a simple fueling module can shave over 2 seconds and add 12 + MPH to the 1/4 mile times!

And it's much more of a pulling machine with the box on level 1.

Mileage is 21 MPG average lately.
