Does anyone have any experience changing from drum to disc brakes? Where would be to a good source for the components?

Thanks.

Member jesseK4903 just did this with his 95 by going to a Dana 70 from

You need a late 01' (early 01' had drum rear) or an 02'... . Auto trucks had smaller dana 70 rear or find a late 01' or 02' HO (sixspeed) it had a bigger dana 80.

I think, unlike others, you will only get minimal improvement. The front brakes do about 80% of the stopping. I was thinking about doing it but decided to do the bigger GM wheel cyl upgrade. Rear discs is not enough bang for the buck.
