2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2001 24 value SLT 2500 rwd

I have found a 2001 SLT rwd I was wronging what the down falls of this years model was prong to and what to look for when checking it out at the buyers home? The truck has 160,000km on the odo meter.

The 98. 5 to 2002 had problems with the lift pump going out slowly. Low fuel pressure will overheat the vp44 injection pump which will kill it.

After market fuel pump recommended.



Make sure it hasn't had any added horse power. If does make sure it has after market fuel pump (FASS for example) vp44 injection pumps cost a lot.
