2003 3500 SRW hub caps

Hi, I have a 2003 SRW 3500 4X4 and was looking for chrome OEM hub caps , I have silver ones now and they have a metal fastening system that snaps onto the lug nuts. I found these on ebay but they have plastic retainers. Will they work well or should I look for the metal ones?

The original caps on my 03 had metal retainers. When I put a set of factory 2013 rims on the truck they came with caps that had plastic retainers. David

so the metal retainer types and the plastic retainer types are interchangable?

I believe so, altho I didn't mount the 13 caps on my 03 truck but I did mount the 03 caps on the 13 rims and they fit. The 13 caps ended up on my friends 15 for his winter wheels. David
