How do I test a brake controller ?

diesel prices

I've got a 38' Work and Play ordered which is a race trailer with living qtrs. I can "adjust" pin weight somewhat by moving my car around in the back of the trailer, I'll get it dialed in with scales, My estimated target will be 1500/2200, its 2020 empty and the axles are centered 13' from the ramp, 17. 75' garage area.

I do have the overload springs (Do all 3500SRW's have those?).

Million dollar question is should I expect the truck to sit level or better or am I going to have sag? My 01 QC SB had no sag at all with a similar load but if i remember the springpack was considerable more in the older truck- maybe even same as 3500 dually of that generation.

Just trying to see if I need to plan for an airbag install or perhaps do a rear only Kelderman setup. Thanks!

I run a 37' open 2 car hauler with the Jeeps. I can balance out the truck by putting the Jeeps in just the right place. But, I found the ride witht the Firestone airbags is much nicer going down the highway. I just put in the bags and use an air compressor to fill them. I don't have the on-board air setup for them yet. Even with the load correctly balanced, you will appreciate the extra comfort from the airbags. Less jerking and bouncing from crappy roads...
