2006 Dodge engine damage - Cannot get answer!! *UPDATE*
I'm sorry, but this deserves it's own thread, they are ignoring my calls now and will not give me an answer on my truck.
Summary:
I had an oil leak.
It was towed to the dealer.
It has been 34 days that they have had it.
So here's what happened today:
I called, they transferred me to his voicemail yet again.
I hung up, called back, told them "I can't get anything but his voicemail. "
They say let me try & find him, then they transfer me to his voicemail. :-{}
I hang up, call back again, it just rings, rings, rings, then transfers me back to the receptionist. :{
She transfers me again.
It rings.
Back to the receptionist, she says she'll page them.
It rings.
Back to the receptionist, she says to hold.
Then finally it transfers me to another guys voicemail.
Ahhhhhhhh!!!! :-{}
So then I call Chrysler.
I tell them my truck had an oil leak and has been at a dealer for 34 days.
He says, "How many days?"
I say... THIRTY... FOUR... DAYS.
They say give me the last 8 digits of your VIN.
I say, "I can't get that because my truck is 200 miles away from me. "
There is a long pause of silence, as if he is trying to comprehend my situation.
Then he says, "Well if you can get those #'s and call us back we'll be able to help you. "
I say, "Let me talk to your supervisor. "
He says, "I'm sorry sir but I'm the lead supervisor on the floor. "
Finally I find my VIN # on my insurance card.
So then he calls the dealership & puts me on hold a while.
He comes back, says he has logged a customer care request with the dealership and that will "get the ball rolling. "
I say, "There's nothing more you can do, do I need to call or something?"
He says no, and that I need to give them another day or two to follow up with that request.
Then he tells me in a prick voice, "You have a good day now sir, bu bye. "
I'm never buying another Dodge, this has been the worst experience. Time I can take... the damage may even be my fault, but to totally ignore me and take 34 days having my truck and it's still not fixed whatsoever... that is just wrong.
Suggestions?
