What a joke, V8 diesel are junk, the only V style diesel that are worth a **** are in Trains, Ships, power generation, and other large applications because they need a lot of power and the main reason is it size, all the do is combine 2 I-6 or I-8 and make one motor. The prinicple in smaller diesel engines like- cars,pickups, tractor trailers, equipment under 1000hp is the inline style and that is it ask Cummins, CAT, John Deere, etc. V style motors are NOT FOR PICKUPS, RIGS, CARS, when will Ford and GM WISE UP, they will never be the best plain and simple, OOOOO!!!!!! They got 35 more hp and and 50ft/lbs more torque than my 05 610, Oh!!! Wait there UGLY for one and with the few mods on my truck and the few coming, they will never see 600hp @ the rear wheels let alone 350 through that POS transmission.
