I installed some of the early accessory kits to add the e-brake functionality. I don't remember the cost. Not a lot of money and not many parts. Switch panel and wiring as I recall

RVPoser,

Looks like you intentionally copied the MSRP decal so that the price couldn't be seen. What were you hiding?

The "exhaust brake feature" is, was, and always has been provided by the OEM VGT which was an essential component of every 6. 7 engine. What was actually an option?

The turbo was capable but the switch and wiring was no there

RVPoser,

What you posted showed an MSRP similar to mine with exhaust brake showing up as no charge standard equipment. I don't know what your point was with partially covering another MSRP under that one.

But Nick posted a sales invoice showing an accessory kit and Bob reported adding a wiring harness and switch so it appears I was wrong.

Hey, even a dumbass like you gets to be right once in a great while.

Oh he see's it, he's just going to claim he can't. Standard procedure for that guy.

That's an interesting accusation made by a proven liar who was outed for his lies.

You couldn't produce evidence to back up your lies about how Cummins and Jacobs mistreated you. Lets see you produce evidence of whatever it is you're lying about this time.

Ya I know, back in grade school, but that is what it is like when HSmartash calls you a liar, because he wishes it so, but one thing HSmartash has proved is his word is worthless. I have provided many documents proving the EB was an option on the early C&C in 06 for the MY 07, and HSmartash posted, he would post in BOLD print if proven wrong, and requested a MSRP window sticker as proof, because he thought that I would never get one. So he posted that he would apologize in BOLD print. Not only is there a MSRP, but brochures, articles and blogs of buyers looking for the kit to install the hardware.

In bold print or your a coward!

I bet poor Frank thinks twice before posting another question on here again.
Ya poor Frank, he was getting accurate info from many sources until HSmartash had to try to act knowledgeable were he was wrong several times and turned a good thread that was working as designed, into a JOKE.

BTW Frank, if you are still reading this nightmare, how has that new truck been running? Pictures please. ;)

It's a shame that Harvey's perpetual lack of knowledge always makes the threads turn south... but he is too full of himself to ever realize his mistakes.

WOW, searching for info on my Arctic Fox and this thread pops up, no wonder we have been relieved of HSmartash's (HBarlow for those who don't know him) intelligence.

Hey, frank1, hows the 06 with the dump bed running any updates and pictures would be appreciated?

Very pleased w/ the 06'. The Rugby dump body works great!,nice addition to the fleet!. Only put on about 4,000 miles since I bought it last March. I did notice it does not get as good MPG's as my 03's (10 mpg's unloaded). Hopefully it will get better as the engine continues to break in ( only 16,500 miles on engine!). Also, I noticed the clutch is not as "heavy" to engage as my 03' w/the six speed.Which is nice after 18 hours of plowing! The truck is now completely covered in white salt residue, do to all the rock salt that has been applied to our roadways this past snowstorm! Will take a photo once things warm up and able to wash it down.

One of my reps refers to the black and white strips of scum on the side of one's vehicle as the following.....

It is a mixture of snow and dirt....Therefore it is "SNIRT"....

I liked it.

Mike.

Mike, that's a good one! Had another clipper go by yesterday afternoon - maybe 2.5" of light snow. Got in early this morning from plowing/salting - boy if this town/ state continues to put down 100 tons a salt in 100 yards (joking!), I'll only have a set of tires left by March!!!!!! Thank God for Fluid Film - I spray the undersides of all my trucks, salters, plows and snow blowers with it it seems to help out a lot. Tomorrow is supposed to get to mid 30's around here - good time to clean off the exteriors of the trucks and equipment.

We warmed up into mid 20's yesterday and then it snowed all afternoon. Got about 8" of snow.

Thermometer is dropping, about 10 degrees right now and wind is blowing. No chance for cleaning vehicles to remove the "Snirt" unless you have time to leave them in the garage after washing so that they can dry.

Doors have been freezing shut as it is without adding wash waster to the issue. I hate seeing my stuff look like that but almost impossible to do otherwise with this crazy winter.

Going out to plow now. Got a little over 6" yesterday to this morning. We had a little break, and now it is at it again. Supposed to be -10 by Tuesday here, so I'm not even going to think about trying to clean anything off. We have a couple of long gravel access roads that we plow that have drifted shut again since last night. Should be a fun, easy job today.....:-laf

We have a Hiniker strait blade right now. Wanted a V plow, but both the Meyer and Hiniker dealers suggested a strait blade for the amount of gravel we plow on. Not sure why, but that's why we ended up with the 8.5' strait blade.

Anyhow, I agree that plowing with the Cummins is amazing. With all that weight out front and the low end torque, its hard to imagine plowing with anything else again.

RVTRKN: Finally had to wash the truck, here are some pics
