Here it is. My 2006 Mega Cab has an issue. I recently had noticed the gooseneck trailer was not stopping very well. I had 4 new magnets installed being that the trailer is a 2000 model and 1 magnet was barely holding a screwdriver. Nothing changed. Took the Volt meter to the bumper of the truck and discovered the 5 o'clock pin on the bumper (brake wire) is 12. 25 volts ALL THE TIME. That's WITHOUT the brake pedal being pushed in or the manual lever on the Draw-Tite ActivatorII being used. I then proceeded to go under the dash and take the BLUE wire loose coming out of the brake box and sure enough it tested 12. 25 volts. Once again no pedal applied. Bought a new P-3 controller figuring this would solve the problem. Wrong answer. The voltmeter goes crazy trying to tell me 41 volts! Any thoughts would be appreciated!! I did read somewhere that the brake box sends current in the blue wire searching for a trailer, but I am not sure about that. Thanks, Jared
