New to TDR and have a few questions hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My 2008 6.7 broke, part of the piston became part of the cylinder.. I initially thought it was just a head gasket but that was only one of the problems. I pulled the head and had it machined and got a set of ARP studs and the cummins upper gasket set from genos.
I'm looking for the best place to buy the rebuild kit and if there are any must do upgrades or changes I need to do while I'm in the engine.
It's my work truck so I'm not trying to make crazy power, it's also already been deleted. Truck has 180,000 on it and besides the engine, the transmission and transfer case and rear axle are new (piece of 20 inch pipe fell off a truck and it got run over and broke everything) it has a new southbend clutch as well.
I'm just looking for some insight as I got very little on the other forums. Thanks in advance
