I LIVE IN BRYAN TEXAS AND LITHIA DODGE SAID THEY WILL BE RECIEVING A SHIPMENT OF 2010 HD'S ON THE 16TH/17TH. I AM SO EXCITED. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM IN PERSON. I AM THINKING ABOUT TRADING MY 06 MEGACAB 4X4 FOR A NEW CREW CAB. NOT SURE THOUGH. STILL KIND OF CAUTIOUS ABOUT THE 6. 7 LTR. Oo.

that maybe the wise decision . Chrysler and Cummins are not out of the woods with the 6. 7 engine yet. the rest of the trucks have to start with the emissions standards this year and they are taking a different approach . let's see how this works out.

The pickup's supposed to have identical emissions as the '09's but the C&C gets urea injection. The new interior is a quantum leap over mine.

If you compare opinions regarding the ISB6. 7 engines to signatures of the poster you will notice that the TDR members who own ISB6. 7s are very pleased with them and the guys who have negative comments about them do not own one.

My '08 cab and chassis has 63,000 perfect, trouble free miles on the odometer. It displayed a check engine light a year ago that cleared itself. The only dealer attention it has received was a voluntary, requested reflash to update the computer software about three months ago.

If you like the trucks and want one there is nothing to fear. Ignore the negative comments from those who do not own one.

I wouldn't worry about that engine ether. The only difference I have read about is the temp of the thermostat will be rased to 200 degrees to help with the regeneration process. The customers I have in here who have left there 6. 7 stock are having no problems. I here more complaints about ball joints then any thing. If I had the $ I would buy one just to avoid the urea. I had planed on a cc in the spring, I guess I will look for a used one now or pickup. Have fun!

no problems here with my 6. 7 '08 5500 C&C with automatic.

i hate when new models come out when the truck i have isn't even broken in yet. just ain't fair.

I'd keep the 5. 9, When the DPF needs replacement at 130k some odd miles it's a pretty penny... ... After your warranty is gone of course! 5. 9l's have actually gone up in value and they are more tweakable than the 6. 7l... . More options for goodies and toys by far.

I had ball joints and steering dampener replaced yesterday 92,000 miles.

R. Taylor you might want to keep an eye open to what all is going on very fast as far as mods for the 6. 7ltr.

:-lafChevy and ford had to use the def to meet the standards that the Cummins was meeting 3 years ago.

They also have bigger front brakes, stronger front axle shaft u-joints and a bigger p/s gearbox

I'm just waiting to see how much a 2500 4x4 crew cab slt will cost. I'm sure it will be expensive, being a new model and such. Maybe the car market the way it is will keep the prices down. Just have to wait and see.

It doesn't matter what the msrp sticker says the price is. If you inform yourself and do some wise shopping you can always find a dealer who will sell you a new one at a deep discount. Competition in the marketplace, a slow economy, and poor car sales work to the advantage of the buyer.

BoB4x4, did they do anything with the ball joints?
