I'm a hoping that Titan or Transflow comes out with a larger replacement that fits in the stock location for my 13. I miss having that 35 gal tank the 05 and the 12 had on long trips. I'm not about to give up bed space just yet....
I could have sworn that there was a factory option to have a 37 gallon tank when I was looking. Might have been included with the fifth wheel prep group.
FWIW you may be able to install a tank where your spare tire rides (if you can find a home for that). I think those are in the 30 gallon range.
With the Def tank in the way, there really isn't any room to add a bigger tank. You could have one hang slightly lower, and fill in all the little spaces a bit tighter, but you would maybe gain 5 gallons, not worth it for the thousand bucks or so the tank would cost.
Spare tire replacement tanks are 36 gallons, I still have one lying around from an old truck if anybody is interested. Come to think of it, I still have a 60 gallon replacement from an old Megacab if anybody is looking.
I know the DEf tank kill a lot of space, However an extra 5 gal that would give me 36 gal that would equal around another 50-80 miles distance when towing. That would have made all the diff on my trip to the Keys this past winter when all the fueling stations in SC had no power from the Ice storm. Diff of a nice Hotel room in Ga rather the really bad and $$$$ room that I found in SC when I ran out of fuel..... That said how about it Transflow/ Titan Market could be there....
True that does work however it takes away from how much "stuff" my partner in crime can pack for the trip. You have to understand these Ny women they need 5 or 6 bags for an overnight trip... It's the biggest reason I have a 2500 truck and not a Tacoma......LOL
