Yeah. I bought the extended warrantee also. 7 years 70,000 miles.

I only put 9000 on it the first year. I noticed my back up camera went out when I closed the tailgate. It came back on its own. But there is just too much on these new ones. Including the def system. Which is completely new.

Leave that sucker stock! After putting 9k on my 2014, I'd recommend a cap for the fuel tank as mine has ingested some nasties from long dirt road trips in Alaska going up and down the Haul road. Engineers that came up with this need their ***** kicked. The door DOES NOT seal out the dirt.

I'm thinking about an Edge CTS just for a little extra info that he trucks EVIC doesn't give me.

Thanks for the heads ups guys. I love the truck the way it is, has great power! The transmission is geared a lot lower than I had expected. I don't even use first gear with out a load on her. Other than that I she is amazing! Feels like she could pull down an old barn in the back yard. Haha

Another mod question though. I want to put stacks on it, is there a better brand to get than another and also, would this have any negative effects on the truck/warranty?

Yes, any mod to your truck, especially the exhaust, will void the emissions warranty. That emission warranty is crucial to your engine, that DPF will cost thousands to replace, and Dodge would void it in a heart beat if modded.

Not quite, Just because you mod the truck doesn't mean it voids any type of warranty, But if you want to add stacks I've sen a few kits out there that have a u turn pipe that comes off the back of the scr to bring the exhaust back to the bed for stacks. Keep in mind you can move the emission parts around as long as they stay in tact from the entrance to the exit. IE the emissions system is the cat converter, the dpf and the scr the piping in between them can be routed however you want. That said with as many sensors, pipes and tubing etc to make this work I would just connect a flexible exhaust piping and route it back from the stacks. That way everything is left intact and there's no questions. If something were to go wrong you would face an uphill battle with chrysler and this thing is like 2K to fix once it goes bad. I had a shim in the axle go out on my 04 with 37s I had to fight the dealer and chrysler to get them to cover it. I have an engineering degree so I brought out the shim life expectancy equation and did the calcs to show that the larger tires actually increase the life of the shim rather then lower it if bot for that I would have been out a couple hundred bucks. Don't be afraid to modify your truck but at the same time make sure you are prepared for the cost or paperwork battle if something you touch breaks.

I have a 07.5 with 400k, a 2011 with 186k, no mods and plenty of maintence. Been real happy with both trucks, and can't wait to buy my next one !!!

Interesting to read others like me purchased a extended warrantee. Its the first time I ever got "suckered" into one but actually I wanted it before they even asked if I wanted it. I thought it was a sign of my age not wanting to work on it, but more importantly my time to drop it off and have them sort through issues is more practical then me fumbling through this complex machine to find I cant figure it out anyhow.
Also for the first time in 20 years I am not going to run Amsoil in my truck. I find I still changed oil more often then needed and it is much cheaper to go with the recommended oil then Amsoil. Not saying anyone running Amsoil is making a mistake, just saying for me it just didn't make sense this time around.
I think after investing too much money into 5.9s over the years to get more power this new truck has more power out of the box then any of those did and its nice to just leave it stock and drive it.

I guess I am a little confused, I read that Valvoline was what was recommended . Now that you raised my eyebrow I searched I see many people running rotella and rotella t6 ? Maybe sticking with Amsoil is not such a bad idea ? I stopped at autozone tonight and they looked it up and it gave them oil type NYA (not yet available), said they didn't know what to tell me.

Edge makes a programmer for the 2013-2015 Cummins and they claim its not traceable when put back to stock. Race Me is coming out with the programmer in about a month for the 2013-2014 Cummins if you want to delete the EGR and DPF. Then soon after that they will come out for the 2015 Cummins.

The feds will shut these guys down! They are very serious about that! Oh wait! That will all be thrown out by the new re-pollution congress, that soon will repeal years of environmental regulations. Bomb away!

This is NOT the political section Sno so please limit your political clout to that section. Thanks

That's the best news I have heard in a long time!!..........When do you think it will happen??...........Oh wait were you being facetious?

My stepson is in the wholesale exhaust business and they no longer will touch anything for deletes. He has a customer that had fed suits show up and ask if he worked on a particular truck. They said you will cease such mods, right!

Deletes still have a legal place on our planet for off road racing, drag racing etc so it's only a matter of time before deletes hit the market.
