Howdy, first time poster here. I'm a Cummins newbie but not a Dodge newbie.

I'm just curious, more than anything (I'm nerdy that way), about the absence of the dual radiator system on 2015's. The 2015 literature says it has a dual radiators just like the '13's and '14's, but mine does not have them.

Anyone know why? I guess I'm also curious because obviously at some point, they decided a greater cooling capacity was needed, I'm wondering if they did something else on the '15's instead of two radiators?

Less use of egr and increased use of scr maybe? Would not need as much cooling capacity for egr cooler. Not sure but I know some manufacturers are going that direction.

Anyone have pics showing the single RAD? I was surprised that RAM had gone to the dual rad system as I've never had hot running engine issue with any truck and I've towed very heavy with loads sometime twice the trucks rating.

Yes, curious to the changes.

Even at 160hp over stock (flywheel) I don't get too close to the Cummins limit of 225° on the 190° thermostat. Thou the 6.7 does use about 7qts less coolant than my 2005, for more hp and an EGR cooler.

I also don't show an increase in cooling capacity from 2012 to 2013, maybe 2 radiators was more hassle than it was worth.

I can take a picture a bit later (I'm at work), but I'm not sure why you'd want to see that?? It looks like any other vehicle with a single radiator, other than it's bigger, for a Diesel. The only thing a picture would be able to show you is a single radiator top hose going into the radiator. Everything else (PS cooler, trans cooler, AC condenser) is shrouded and not visible.

It is my understanding that the dual radiator systems had a Y split in the top hose, but otherwise it was not that obvious without looking in the various nooks and crannies of shrouding to see the second radiator. I have done a google image search and only found computer renditions of the setup, no real photos of the dual system.

Here ya go.

Yessir. Did you notice that your picture shows two upper radiator hoses? Mine only has one. There is definitely only one radiator on this truck.

Took a quick look at a 15 2500,sure enough single radiator. I'll have to look into it when or if I get caught up a bit

From what I understand. The bottom is the intercooler the middle is for the engine and the top is for the egr.
