2022 3500 Longhorn

Dang guys, I have an 06 with 186,000 miles on it, that I've had since new. I was thinking about trading in, on a newer one, until reading all these posts.

I wouldn’t hesitate if you want one. 06’s weren’t problem free either, but most were. Anything made by man can fail, and most people on the internet are complaining about something.

But seriously looks like a well equipped rig.

How much of those rebates did you eventually qualify for? They were ridiculous in length and the qualifications were very conflicting.

If you wait, you'll miss either a great time driving a new rig or the comfort that it will give you! I'd have to say that you'd miss both! Was reminded of the differences between my '01 1500 and the '14 3500. The 3500 has spoiled me even thou the '01 was sooo nice when I got it in Aug '01. I know they are different size of trucks, but the 3500 has much better creature comforts and the ride difference in handling is so similar of the 1500! My 1500 is a 2500 is disguise. Has 6 pack leaf, 5.9 gas , trans cooler and p/s cooler but 5 bolt axles! When I had to replace tires after the extra leaf added, they had to use the 2500 specs to get it dialed in. After driving my FIL '20 limited, I sure would like to get a newer one, but sadly not in the budget anytime soon.
