How long to get truck

Hi All, just purchased new 22 SRW 3500 Limited. It is supposed to be here next week.
Anyone know what customer preferred package 2HM and Limited level 1 equipment group means?

I also purchased extended warranty 0 deductible 5 years 160000km.

Thanks

I would rather have a deductible and a longer time on warranty. Sure glad I had coverage through 8 years when my engine blew up. My $100 deductible was a non-issue on any of the repairs it has had, and there were plenty besides the engine failure. GPS, radio unit, intake housing, front wheel bearing, both front U-joints, and a few other things. Hope you didn't buy warranty through a 3rd party either, make sure it's Mopar. I would say even with a $200 deductible you will be way ahead in the long run.

Well I was in need of a truck and they are selling like hot cakes. So put deposit on this one over phone and went in last Saturday to sign the deal.
I am in Canada so yes it is a Mopar warranty, but all they had was 0 deductible. It is called a gold plan and covers bumper to bumper. 5k Canadian for 160k 5 years. ( Commercial plated) to get 7 year 200k would have been 10k. So I went with the 160k. For me it is more mileage since I do 50k a year. I can extend the Mopar warranty up to 200k at any time. As for the options, I have the window sticker, but just not sure what these to pages include....

Thank you, unfortunately I am in Canada and the link asked me for a zip code with I do not have.
Just not sure what all it comes with , since I do not believe everything is listed in the window sticker....
I guess I will see next week what I get. According to dealer truck was in Montreal on Friday that is only 100 miles from my dealer.....

My 2021 F150 has these type features. I really like Adaptive CC with stop and go, my Ford also has lane centering as an option when in adaptive CC, however it requires one to have both hands on the steering wheel at 2 and 10 O-clock, so I turned off that option. Ford Lane-Keep Assist, I turned off correction and it just rumbles to let you know you are out of your lane. Surround-View Camera System is really handy(Ford calls in 360 cameras). Trailer Reverse Guidance(Ford calls it Pro Trailer assist) insults my truck driving years, however it is pretty neat.

I found the lane (lame) assist to be worthless. I'm driving, not some algorithm that will tire you out on a short trip. I don't want a tug-n-nudge drift when I am trying to avoid the dead bunny or 2x4 with nails in my lane. Adaptive cruise is the best! But YOU are still the responsible driver. Surround cameras are great...when it's dry. Gotta find something to put on the lenses to have the water sheet instead of bead. Forward collision is so-so. Biggest complaint is coming off the freeway and up to the intersection where traffic lanes split into left and right turn lanes. If the split lanes have a little zig-zag where the left turning lanes are straight in front of the off ramp run and the right lane veers quickly to the right, the sensors detect an object straight ahead (left turn traffic awaiting access to turn and the right lane is freely turning at speed limit) and slams on the brakes, dingers ding, and displays a warning message in the instrument panel. Yes, the seat belt works wonderful (OOF!), the brakes function great, the warning things warn...just hope the guy behind you isn't too close because it is unanticipated and immediate. I kept the warning on but turned off the startling automatic feature of the brakes. Again, you are the responsible driver, not some algorithm.

I am sure I will like the camera. My son just got a 21 dually Bighorn with the camera option...
Somewhere I read that the limited comes with power sidesteps, but it does not show on window sticker....would be a nice option...

I believe that is standard on the Limited trucks. Select this link (to the left), scroll to the right to get to the Limited series. Scroll down select SHOW ALL FEATURES. Scroll down to view the items for the Limited series.
It was on my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited. They were very nice in both looks and function.

Here's the answer to your 2HM question - From the Canadian Build and Price, Powertrain Combination option selection section https://www.ramtruck.ca/en/build-and-price/ramtruck/3500/2022/23425/CAD20RMT135E0#

Any markup over sticker up in Canada?

That's pretty popular here, at one local dealer all HD RAMS are $5k over sticker, the includes normal vans, trucks, C&C. Most other places are at sticker price. But even that changes when Stellantis gets the opportunity to reinvoice for special trucks they took the chance to add $2k to some special trucks and vans.

Good luck with your truck sounds like a nice option package.

No markup, we pay sticker exactly. Traded my 2016 2500 230k got $ 35k for it.

Yep, it was one email to a dealer a little closer to pay sticker for me. Some dealers have so little inventory I can't fault them for adding what they can, it was just too easy too still pay sticker up the road.

At one point with in the last 2 weeks they had 6 total new trucks and little vans across the street at the RAM dealer. Zero Jeeps, but a bunch of the pick up Gladiators for somereason looked like 24 of those.

That's great on the trade in.

Enjoy.

Here it was very hard to find any cummins new. They sell them before they hit the lot. My salesmaneger ( known him for 20 years) said they ordered 25 of them but have only gotten 7. That is why I put down deposit and bought without seeing it, it would be sold before it gets here.
In the showroom they have a wall with window stickers that you can pick and buy the vehicle based on it.

Thanks for the insight. Might have to turn it off as well. My wife Mercedes has all that, but it just lets you know by warning you. Have yet to have a time when it is breaking for you. With her car I nod not like that it turns itself off at every stop.....and back on when you hit the gas.....

You know, to me it seems like many of the new-fangled features they are pushing in vehicles today just increase the cost and pander to the inattentive and big city drivers. I've seen several commercials "promoting" par-taying, seat-dancing, hands flying through the air, not watching the road, or engrossed in conversations with the passengers in the back seat, not paying attention to driving the vehicle, and daydreaming, hands off the steering wheel, fiddling with stuff. And they wonder why Teslas crash and burn when the operator puts in on autopilot.
Enough of my rantings.
I'm sure you will enjoy your new 2022 - a bunch!.
