18 hwy (65-75mph)unloaded

15. 5-16 (city/mixed)unloaded

15 hwy towing 3500lb boat (stock) Haven't towed boat again since bombing

I used to get 19. 5-20 hwy and 18 city until DDII's and EZ. Mileage went down due to heavier foot w/BOMBS... . :D

3500 w/ 6 sp & 3. 54's, stock.

Best of 16. 2mpg city/hiway combination.

13. 3mpg pulling 7000# at 70/75, but some empty use on the tank also. 3000 miles on the truck so far.

5 speed, 3. 54 rear, 3500 4x4 weights 7800lbs.

unloaded on summer fuel: 17. 4 mpg

unloaded on winter fuel: 15. 2 mpg

pulling 5-6K trailer: 11mpg

pulling same trailer with propane on: 17. 7 mpg

mileage never varies whether I drive it with a light foot or not.

Winter fuel mileage improves to 18 mpg with addition of Stanadyne all-season to fuel.

See sig for specs. Truck empy weighs 7,500. I get 9-13 towing my 12,000 lb 5th wheel. I get 15-18 in town, and 17-21 on the highway doing 70.

My Fuel Economy

I have a '99 Ram 3500, 5spd, 3. 55LSD with 235/85R16 tires. I average 16. 5mpg unloaded average speed 70mph. I average 14mpg loaded with 10,000+ pound trailer with an average speed of 65 - 70mph.

MPG calculations by hand, taking into account 235s instead of the factory 215s.

Hope this helps. :D

Best ever after 430 miles highway one way @ 65-75 MPH 18. 5.

Normal mixture of driving otherwise is 50% highway and 50 % back roads 15. 5-16. 5 summer with no load and when pulling 2000lbs trailer it falls to 13. 5 MPG all figured with calculator not computer. Winter fuel seems to have little efect on mileage. I have never gotten the mileage most people say they are getting.

My great web site

With 99 2500 4WD 3. 54 rear end Amsoil lubricants throughout and Amsoil air filter I get:

17-19 in hilly country unloaded driving

19-20 in flat land highway unloaded driving

12-13 in flat land towing about 8500-9000#

This is with CA fuel. Add 1 MPG for out of CA fuel.

2001 ETH duallie 4x4 w/ 6 speed, 3:54 gear ratio, quad cab

Engine is broken-in.

Lubes are synthetic (AMSOIL)

Unloaded: City/Town = 16 mpg

Highway = 19 mpg

Loaded (w/ 10k+/- behind the truck - that's about 18k GCWR)

Highway = 16mpg

Local/Town = 15 mpg

Hope this helps.
