About 500 miles ago my 2012 4500 Ram threw the 2453 code, Pres Dif sensor on the DPF. i cleaned the lines, nothing in them not even dust, and replaced the sensor. Wiring appeared good, put dielectric grease on prongs , cleared the code and all was good , til now, engine has 1850 hours, and 42K on the clock, run time, dont have idle hours but this is an ex GSA snowplow rig so it may have lots of idle hours.
Question: Should I R/R the DPF and clean , or is there another way to go? I work it hard when it gets used pulling/hauling a 4500 lb camper and a 28 ft tri axle with about 10 to 12 lb worth of tractors on board.
I replaced the factory sensor with a Dorman unit from Geno's I think it was.
What say guys?
