Isn't the controller just for the RE?

Yes it is and sorry for that I did not notice that your truck was a 95... my bad. One question, when you ordered your VB did you order it to be set-up with an exhaust brake?

No I hadn't planned on the exhaust brake when I ordered it. After driving a friends truck with an exhaust brake I have to have one now. I think I am going to either send my vb back and have it reworked or just buy another one.

Give Stefen a call and tell him what you need to do so we can set you up. The vb needs to be modded for the exhause brake.

You can check to see if your's already has the mod pretty easy. Rig a lockup switch. Take a test drive with the lever in 2. Turn the lockup switch on as soon as the truck moves. Then after it has shifted to 2nd and you have the RPM up to 2000 lift and watch the tach. If RPM drops to idle right away or after a few seconds you don't have the mod. If RPM drops as the speedo drops then you have the mod. My VB is pretty old so I suspect that you already have the 2nd gear lockup mod. Repeat the test a couple of time. An RH can be a little bit cranky about locking up.

Yeah I have a mystery switch in the truck already. I am going to just order a new one with the 2nd gear lockup capabilitly so I don't have any downtime with the truck.
