2wd Coil Spring Spacers

This weekend, I put in a pair of 2. 5" Daystar coil spring spacers on my '06 2wd. Now, when I hit a large bump, I get a clunking sound. I look under, but I can't really see anyplace where contact is being made. It sounds like more of a thud than a metal on metal clunk. I'm thinking I'm maxing out the travel on my shocks, too bad if it's the shocks, I just put in the Bilsteins about a month ago. If it is, who makes longer travel shocks for my 2wd?? Here's a shot of the truck now. Looks good, and there's still a slight rake to it, 3/4" taller in the rear still which is what I was looking for, but I'm worried about the clunking. #ad

My truck is 2nd gen. but before I put daystar spacers on mine, my shocks were bottom out when just jackin up my truck to rotate tires, I went with longer shocks,(3rd gen may have longer stock) I also had problems with springs to seat for about a week, My upper ball joint bolt came close to my frame where spring pocket is. cut a abs wire once hit speed bump way to fast. so look for any contact, this is what I experianced. but then agine my suspensoin geomentry slighty diffrent on 02

I have had the same issues w/mine (see sig). Clunk didn't go away when I went to "allegedly" longer shocks. I can't verify, but am thinking those spacers could be the culprit to my ball joints (upper and lower) being shot at 68k miles. I'm rarely on anything other than asphalt, but a deep pot hole will produce the clunk to which we refer. Just my $. 02.
