Hello fellow Rammers! I just wanted to share a BOMB I did on my truck a few days ago.
I changed out the stock 9006 bulbs in my factory installed fog lights for a set of 9005's. What is the difference? The 9006's are low beam bulbs, while the 9005's are high beam bulbs. Sylvania's spec sheets show that a 9005 puts out 1,700 lumens of light vs. a 9006's 1,000 lumens. Changing two bulbs would give me an additional 1,400 lumens for better vision! That is like adding another high beam to the truck (one 9007 high beam = 1,350 lumens).
To make a long story short - a HUGE difference! You can find a detailed description of the BOMB in the technical section of our site: thebritebox.com.
Just remember, USE THE INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK!
We are also offering the conversion harnesses (eliminates all wire cutting and splicing to do this) for sale that I made up for my truck for a reasonable cost.
Repectfully submitted,
