Expanded Food Program!

Yup, I can think of some stuff to post about. While I liked the beef sandwiches we had for lunch last year, John says the menu will be expanded this year. Now that's my kind of event, emphasis on the chow!!!



From what I was told today the drag race venue may not be in my best interests (2wd). It won't be asphalt in other words. It will be very hard packed roadbase so the 4x4 trucks will have a good time.



There will be a dyno available for those that wish to benchmark their trucks performance. Not sure what the cost for dyno runs is.



Those of us that attended last years function are looking forward to this years event with great anticipation. We expect more participation from our club as well as the NorCal area in general. Also, RICHARDDOG (MADDOG) is due this year and if he can find an RV to rent then he can hang with the campers in the back lot. Bryan will haul his RV down and make camp with the RV's in back too.

The camp area on the backside of the event is the place to hang out in the evening. We stay up till the weee hours of the morning tinkering with the trucks. Although there are no hookups, there are enough generators on the RV's to run a few lights for midnight modifications. Camping is free BTW. Your on your own for it's dry camping, not hook ups. OTOH, there are RV campgrounds with all the goodies. Maybe we can get a list on here of those locations.



What the heck are we going to do with the "Red Rocket"? Sled pull? Smoke contest? Rock Abe Kahn's Ford contest?

Well, it is 10hrs. to Hawaii Via Jet so I think it's about the same from Salt Lake City to Tulare Via my Dodge?? Like to meet and see some of you guys. Where is everyone meeting? Will be gettng in late friday afternoon...
