I'm booked and hooked on Tulare!

I'm booked at Hawthorne Inn thanks, to HVAC. . Looking forward to the Calif. "Chug-O- Ramma" events! I might have a chance in placing in that event!

:D :D HeberRam

I hope the HX60 shows up soon. Going to need that extra boost to scare away the tourists on the way over :D :D :D

HX60!!!

Double ought! What are you up to now???

You won't even be able to make it through the drive through with an HX60!!!

Heck, a turbo that large is going to cause a VACUME that will suck your truck inside out and leave nothing but a black hole/vortex where you used to be:eek:

I hope you have a first aid kit!!!;) :p :D

I'm heading over to a salvage yard in jackson sunday to dive into a pile of turbos. Saw some nice ones last time I was there picking up an engine.

well i'm planning on coming out from mt.

i will be there around 5 to 6 friday night. i don't know if i'll compete in any events, 1200 miles is along way from home to break something. will everyone be meeting friday evening at the dairy or somewhere else for dinner?

thanks

i'm looking forward to meeting you peter and everyone else.

jim

Which way to Tulare?

Jim. . Breakfast in Vegas, Lunch in Bakersfield, beers and burgers in Tulare!:D

What time are you coming through SLC? Maybe carvan down if timing is right.

i'm planning on leaving from slc friday morning. not sure when exactly, when are you leaving?

are you going to try out the sled pulls while were there? we might be able to get maddog and anybody else thats coming from your neck of the woods to travel over with us.

jim

on the road again...

Jim... Since I live in "Heber", Utah, I plan on hitting I-15 South bound around 8:00 AM off center street in Orem which is in Utah County approx. 40 miles south of SLC... Are you spending the nite in SLC? I don't know when and if "MadDog" is going, if you contact him let me know... E-mail me and I will give you my mobile #. . thks, Steve

P. S. I fiqure it's about 750 miles to Tulare from here or about a 9-10hr. drive.

I'll be there, and I'm bringing two recently aquired victims of the Cummins Bug. So thats 3 trucks in my group. I'm bringing my video camera again this year, looking foreward to those sled pulls.

I hope you heavy hitters don't let me down, I've been raving since last October about all that smoke and power - I might even have to hook up to the sled myself this year. See you guys there.

Craig

Craig, good to hear your making the event again this year. I really enjoyed the tape you made of last years event.

Heber Ram, it sounds like your going through Vegas and then over Tehachepi pass to Bakersfield.

For a alternative, consider SLC to Reno and then south on 395. You could cross the Sierras through Yosemite or just north through Sonora. Both of those passes would give you some quality drive time. If you don't have the time available then that's different. Cause it would likely be a longer route.

You could go south on 395 to 178 which takes you over the south end of the Sierras to Delano. That puts you about 30 miles south of Tulare.

Caution: If you cross the Sierras you will see something new to you. You will spot many extremely tall shrubs, we call them TREES:) They are not dangerous!!! If you leave them alone, they will leave you alone. Do not be alarmed:)

Self Defense

Willyslover, those trees can be very crafty, as you can vouch for. You attempted a surprise four point landing on one and it went into self defense mode. Heck, the tree didn't even require stitches!:D

sucks to be me Oct 13&14

I just found out today that I will be working in San Diego for two weeks starting this Sunday 10/7! I'll be working through the weekend of 10/13&14, so I won't be there!

Oh well, I may not be there, but I will be piling up the BOMBing fund!

Enjoy the smoke, beer, trucks, beer and smoke for me, as well as the BEER!

Trees? we got trees and mountains too!

HVAC... . I think you got Utah mixed-up with Nevada. We got Trees here and tall mountains too! What we don't have is that grey stuff you call smog or smoke or something like that. Cuminnstrkn, Maddog and I are going to hook-up to caravan down... . We are bringing O2 tanks so we can breath and nite vision goggles so we can see... :D :D HeberRam
