Buddy of mine is converting to the 3rd gen track bar. He can get the BD kit for $100 less than all the SSB stuff.

I liked the bracket from SSB, set up I used on my truck #ad

He's looking at BD #ad

Wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference in the strength between the brackets, etc. ?

We installed the BD 3rd gen track bar setup in my buddy's truck last night. One 3/4" drill bit @ $22. 00 + two 9/16" bits, one at $24. 00 (broke after we started to go thru frame) and the other at $14. 00 + $15. 00 in fuel running for the bits = $85. 00 of the $100 saved between the SSB set up and the BD.

It worked, but I really didn't like how the BD installed. It really took a good deal of screwing with compared to the SSB which was a true "bolt on".

At least it's done and now he can get the front end centered.

Don Thuren has the best 3rd gen track bar. I used the Solid Steel bar and then switched to Don's unit. My bracket is the Solid Steel unit.
