A harness really spreads the weight equally acrossed your sholders rather than on one with the strap. The harness will take some adjusting until it feels just right for most terrain. Gloves help cut the vibration to your hands and protect from flying debris. I recently replaced the head that holds the three plastic blades on my Stihl due to being worn badly. The new one has less vibration. Guess even though it rotates, it wore unevenly.Originally posted by TommyTurbosaurus
I like my small Honda. It's not that heavy; I've used it often without the harness, although I do have the full harness as well as an over-the-shoulder strap. Highly recommended. Low noise and vibration, and easy starting. Just add gas!
