4" Exhaust Tip Question?

I am currently running a stock exhaust system (except) I have a muffler elimination kit and a cat with no guts. I have a Megs 4" stainless slip on exhaust tip I ordered from Geno's Garage.

Thinking about going to a 4" system (not sure what brand yet)and wanted to know if I can reuse this Megs S. S. tip with a new 4" turbo back system? Will it slip over a 14g or 16g aftermarket 4" system?

Yes, I too have the Megs 4" and installed it on a 4" exhaust from Diesel Dynamics in Las Vegas, excellent product & service, called many times with questions which were all answered. There are alot of good systems out there, go with what you feel is best for you.

Just measure the ID of the tip, it will need to be at or near (as you can fudge a bit) of 4 1/8 ths inches to go over the OD of a typicay 4 inch system. Ours is exactly 4 and 5/32nds OD on both the T-304 stainless steel and aluminized systems. Be sure to check for ovaling or out of roundness of the tube when you're measuring too!

Thanks for the replies, I have decided to go with the 5 inch BigExhaust deal. Can't beat the price.



So now I have a Megs 4" SS tip if anyone knows anyone that might want one.
