Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Finally got around to installing a 4" straight pipe system from Big Exhaust. Cheap and good are my opinions. JUST AN FYI for prospective owners, if you have a standard cab long bed, just buy the extension pipe with the tailpipe, and you're good to go, no need for the muffler replacement pipe. First thoughts coming from my 3" shorty w/glasspack are "wow THAT TURBO IS LOUD" and then on the freeway, ... WAIT is there something wrong with the pyro, is water getting in the intake?? the cruising temps are around 50-100 degrees LOWER and boost lower as well! I think there was some back pressure that was let up, no?
Well I love how loud it is, less drone than my previous setup and I'm going to be using the heater a lot more now that I'll have the passenger side window down! Oo.
