Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 47re problems

Ok guys I got a weird problem with my 97 2500 I recently put a new transmission in and now after driving it for maybe 5 minutes it kicks out of overdrive the od off light is on and then the trans temp light comes on also. I have a deep pan on the transmission with a autometer temp gauge and the temp is only about a 100* when this happens. Prior to the light coming on the trans will shift fine through all the gears it's full of fluid and it doesn't smell burnt or look black still red. What could cause this and what are some solutions to fix this I'm tired of messing with it.

check the connection at the plugs on the trans.. checking fault codes would probably show that the temp sensor is acting up or the connection to it is bad ...do you know if a new temp sensor/transducer and solenoids? were installed
sounds like typical temp sensor symptoms

I bought a complete rebuild kit from suncoast and had a guy rebuild it for me so what ever was in the kit was installed. I checked the connector at the transmission and cleaned it with contact cleaner there were no bent pins in there. I'll have to hook a scan tool up tomorrow and check for codes and check all solenoids

most kits Ive seen dont come with electrical components... my bet is a temp sensor maybe ask the builder
