cummins12v98, That seems heavy to me. My 2011 Ram dually and 2008 triple axle 40' toy hauler is about 26,000. Figuring the MT truck at under 10,000, that makes the trailer and contents at 19,000+. Looks to me that you have 7,000 lbs axles on the trailer. To keep them from being overloaded you would need at least 5,000 lbs on the hitch. do you know what the weight is at the front, rear truck axles and the trailer axles?

Bob I've been wondering the same thing. I've been looking at the DRV suits and they are heavy. My 2008 Holiday Rambler TT weighs 12,750 (including the TW) and my truck weighs right at 11,000 ready to tow with my Onan QD generator and the 100 gallon Transfer Flow full of fuel. That makes me close to 24K with just a 13,000 lb TT. Newer Mobil Suites have 8 K axles with 17.5" LR H tires and a 20K GTWR on just 2 8K axles. I also understand that most of them will be over 4,000 lbs on the tires under kitchen slide side of the trailer. The tires can handle it, they are rated 4800 lbs at 125 psig, but technically the axle is overloaded. I imagine the wheel is also rated at 4800 lbs but I've yet to actually see one to check it out.

To the OP I'm closing in on 10,000 miles, no CELs, a couple of flashes for my radio bugs, and two trips to turn on my rear fuel heater, but I'm very happy with it. Only real issue is a pesky oil leak from the front seal area that we can't seem to find. Ken Irwin

Knock on wood but at 14k miles I've had zero issues with my 13 and ill be honest mine sees a lot of city driving and a lot of idling.

Tuff guy. How often do you change your oil? I don't idle alot. But wondering how often to change oil when driving in the city alot.

I've been changing it around every 5000 miles. Concerned about fuel dilution.

I drive only 6 miles to work. It gets warmed up right when I get to work.

I change mine every 5k miles or every 6 months whatever comes first. I have done that will all my trucks and i have never had an issue. Some say changing it every 5k miles is a waste of oil but i figure oil is cheap compared to an engine.

07.5 with 400K, 2011 with 186K. Both trucks have been gems, a lot of maintence has been performed and sure has paid off. Can't wait to buy my next one !!!

10k on my 2014 and have had a few updates of software. My only complaint is dead pedal but I've got that figured out and can "drive around" it. It's so much better than my 6.7 ford that it's not funny. By 10k miles, my ford was already on its third turbo and second engine.

I just turned 85,000 miles with her and she's been a real hauling/driving machine. Feed her good quality diesel; some Lucas injector cleaner now and then, K&N air filter and she seems to love it. Just replaced the front disc brake pads. Only "issue" so far is a squeak on the right front wheel ("a very perplexing noise" in the forums). She's a big gal (3500 Crew Cab, Long Bed, 6.7 Cummins) but rides and tows a huge 32 foot camper trailer really smooth.

i now have 8200 miles on my 2014 crew cab long bed 4x4 cummins tradesman with leer tall camper shell. the only problems so far being the one's the dealer doesn't acknowledge as being real problems; ****ty shifting 68rfe and e-brake that works only when it feels like it. other than that, i love it. average MPG is 17.47 so far.
