Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 4x4 not engaging

My 4x4 has recently stopped working. About the time that the truck was having trouble starting. When I try to engage it, it does not feel like the front tires are engaging. This is a major problem considering we are having a very icy week this week. If any of you have any ideas about this, please let me know.

Does your heater contols work? they work off vacuum like the front axle actuator. i would pull the vac hose off the actuator and see if there is vac. there when trying to engage it.

Yep Thats What Happened To Mine One Of The Vacuum Lines Was Off
