Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 5.9 24V engine will not speed up

hope ok to to post here not a dodge but a cummins

Ford 2000 F650 24v cummins engine ,will start fine engine will not speed up

foot on the floor no RPM new fuel filter ,air cleaner is that what they call dead pedal, need help truck down ant idea what problem

Since you are running a 24V, I am guessing that your problem is the APPS or TPS. Geno's sells an aftermarket replacement relatively cheap. A quick search will show you what it is and you can check to see if you haveone.

Could also be "limp mode" if the Ford ECM has that. That's where the ECM intentionally defuels when it can't sense boost or sees other problems. It's a safety thing intended to save the engine.
