Who's towing with an Auto & 3.5s

Financing motorhomes?

The pros It's easy to hook up to your trailer if it's not level, Having a floating head makes for a smoother ride on uneven roads, Won't put a strain on the truck or trailer when there is a a crown in the road.

Can't think of any cons.

Do they make a solid head? I'd never own one. Mine rocks back and forth and side to side. Reese 20K

yes they do have them that have very little play left, right. the first one i got was like that. NEVER again!

No cons at all!!

I have the Super 5th hitch with the Super Rails. . These remove so you have a clean bed.

I ran the solid mount for a few years. When I bought the 05, I went with the B&W Hitch with the pivoting head. I'll never go back to a solid mount.

PRO's

Pivoting heads are sooo much easier to hookup. Less wear, and tear on the jaws, turn-table, and trailer. We take our trailer off-road and needed all the articulation between the truck and trailer. I say it’s the difference of night and day… Also noticed, High crosswinds doesn't affect the tow vehicle as much. Better handling.

CON's

Cost a little more...

Solid Mounts

Pro's

Cost less, makes a great boat anchor.

Con's

Jaws bend due to extreme side to side load (This goes with the main frame too). Pain in the arse to hookup on uneven surfaces. Resale value... Nada!
