What gauge are the pipes 16g or 14g? Notice that there is no pictures of the system, lets get some picture from the first guys that install them and of course the feed back on it, good and bad. Thank you in advance for those who take the time to inform the rest of us on a new product.

WOW... ... that sounds like a pretty good deal, even for me up here in Canada. Thats cheaper than a friend of mine that had a stock system put on his for, even when I figure in the exchange on the dollar. I might be intersted even tho mine doesn't look too bad yet. How many miles do you usually get on the stock system? Mine still looks pretty good but exhausts can be funny that way, one day good next day falling off? I have about 66,000 miles on her right now.

originally it was suppose to be 14 but in the end it is actually 16. Working out the details today and will update the post later.

My 5 inch BE system fits perfect but I had an exhaust shop hang it. I would have ordered it with muffler if I was doing it again. It is deafening without the muffler and I will be ordering a muffler soon. I also need a chrome straight tip for it. Mine sits about 2 inches outside the bottom of the rear quarter which is where I wanted it at but it looks naked without a tip. Did I mention that it was LOUD without the muffler. :--)

ON 3/15/03 I purchased a 5' kit from big EX,for the sale price (305)

it was here in 5 days UPS standard shipping. I must be very slow

But it was a day and a half for me to R/R the system,on the ground under the rig!! the stock EX set up was the hardest to

remove. I bought the muffler with the baffle in it and like It very

much! would I do it again?? Heck yes GWD

Was the tailpipe on your 5"- 2003 exhaust a two piece pipe that more or less exits at the same angle as the stock '03 exhaust?

Well, 330 bucks for a bigexhaust 5" system, that's good enough for me. I'm gonna call them and see if they offer a selection of mufflers and call it a done deal.



They show on the website the 40. 00 discount for TDR members.

I cannot vouch for this system becuase I got sick of waiting and wanted 14guage so I went bullydog 4".

Can someone provide part number for the donaldson muffler offered with the 5" system. It has a baffle inside. That confuses me because 4" straight thru breathes better, so why 5" with a baffle. Not sure about the added restriction. Big exhaust would only tell me that its a donaldson baffled muffler, but couldnt provide a part number. I dont want to add an exhaust the will not benefit sound and performance.
